Safety Relief Valve (Missing Settings Tag)

Introduction

This 3D model shows a safety relief valve (SRV) without a suitable settings tag.

The settings tag is important and often a legal requirement in many countries. Typical settings displayed on the tag could include:

  • Valve ID.
  • Valve Size.
  • Name of the person who set the valve.
  • Lift pressure and capacity.
  • Associated machine maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP)
  • Date set.
  • Date to be reset.
  • Governing body i.e. ASME etc.
